Reasons to believe
Reasons to Believe (RTB) is a science/faith apologetics think tank that integrates modern
scientific discoveries with the truth of the Bible. You can learn more about RTB at their web site www.reasons.org The Sydney Chapter for Reasons to Believe is the local Chapter here for RTB. The Sydney Chapter meets once every month to six weeks, and everyone is welcome to attend and bring visitors. You don’t need to have any background in science to be a part of this exciting new ministry. If you have friends who are sceptical about the Bible because of science, then this outreach ministry can either help equip you to answer their questions, or is a place where you can bring them to help have their questions answered.
American Interns
We would like to thank the american interns for spending the good part of a month building up and encouraging our campus ministry. Having given up their summer holidays they have spread the word and shared their faith throughout a number of university campuses throughout Sydney. As of sunday the 13th of June they will be heading back home, so our sincerest thanks go to them for the work they have done!
Special Services
We are all excited to announce a couple of special services, so pull out your diaries and note these dates:
30 May – We are having a campus led service. The Campus/Uni students in the church are going to lead us in serving the Lord this week!
6 June – Get ready to bring along your neighbour for our ‘bring your neighbour day’ service. The theme this year will be ‘Peace, promised and possible”.

Mothers day service
On the 9th of may the sydney church of christ is holding a special mothers day service. Please invite mothers, grandmothers, and pseudo-mothers for a great time. We will all be bringing a plate of morning tea to share after the service.
Camping trip
Pull out your tents, let your billy boil and apply a large sum of insect repellent; the sydney church is going camping!
From the 16th – 18th of April we are meeting at the Upper Colo Reserve. We are ready for a time of refreshing as we
build up our relationships with each other and grow closer to God!

A Big Thank You To The ‘Melbourne Church’ For A Great Conference!
The Sydney Church would like to say a big “Thank You” to everyone in the Melbourne Church who worked so hard to put together such a fantastic, faith-building conference. The lessons were helpful and inspiring and it was encouraging to be able to fellowship with disciples from all over Australia and the South Pacific. Thanks again to the Melbourne Church for such a great job and all the hard work!
